Kylie Kelce‘s time at the Olympics is one she’ll never forget.

The mom of three and husband Jason Kelce enjoyed time at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, telling PEOPLE that the time away was a “no-brainer” for the couple, who are fond of the area.

“Jason and I love Paris, so it was kind of a no-brainer to go there and get to cheer on USA field hockey,” she tells PEOPLE.

One of the many events the couple took in was women’s gymnastics. During their time in the crowd, Kylie says she spotted an adorable baby she had to bring to her husband’s attention.

“There was a gentleman sitting behind us at gymnastics. He was turned around, taking a picture of someone. I turned around to see who he was taking a picture of and I caught a glimpse of this adorable baby,” she recalls.

“I’m talking, had the stadium headphones on, smushing his little cheeks forward, just great chunky cheeks. I was like, ‘Jason, you have to turn around and look at this baby.'”

“Jason’s like, ‘What do you mean?’ And I was like, ‘You gotta look at this baby, it’s so cute.’ And he turns around, he goes, ‘Kylie, that is Michael Phelps holding the baby,’ ” she laughs.

“One of those moments where you’re like, I wasn’t even, it hadn’t even crossed my mind to look at the person holding the baby. I was so concerned about how cute that baby was. So that’s the moment where I was like, ‘We need to go home so I can squeeze my own children.'”

The couple share daughters Bennett, 18 months, Elliotte, 3½, and Wyatt, 4½. The family of five has been enjoying quality time this summer down by the Jersey Shore.

“We love going down there. It’s sort of nostalgic for me because I grew up going down there and now we sort of have our set places that we go. There’s a certain sense of familiarity in our family and friends that are down there,” she says.

“It’s a good time. We like to frequent the arcade down there and obviously enjoy beach days. But it’s just overall really great family time. You’re always outside and barely ever have the TV on. You get them out from in front of screens. It’s been the highlight of our summer.”

Fall has always been a special time of year for the Kelce family. This year, things are different, but the family is navigating an exciting path.

“Wyatt and Ellie are both in school, so they’ll get back to school in September. They absolutely love it. They love their teachers. They love their classmates. It’s really fun for them to be excited about going instead of it being sort of a battle to get them there,” the proud mom shares.

“This fall is — we’ll see this year is a new schedule for us. So we’ll see how long it takes for us to settle in. Like I said, I’ll start field hockey on Monday, so we’ll get back into that. And then, we’ll just see what football on Monday nights looks like.”
